Inductive current clamp
Web22 nov. 2024 · If an AC clamp is put around a wire with DC current, a DC pulse occurs at the output of the winding of the clamp. Feeding that pulse to an integrator gives the current because the pulse voltage is equal with the flux growth velocity through the winding and the final flux is proportional to the current. Share Cite Follow Web30 mrt. 2009 · The Fluke i1010 AC/DC current clamp is designed to extend the current ranges of Fluke tools and can take current readings without breaking the circuit. Battery-powered dual Hall-effect, clamp-on probe measures dc current from 1-1000A; AC current from 1-600A AC rms. Measures AC and DC current down to 1 amp with specified …

Leaving some room for the maximum saturation current is crucial to avoid core saturation. However, common-mode currents – which are responsible for unintended radiated emissions – are usually in the range of micro- or milliamperes.
WebTo measure inductive AC current: 1.Place the function select switch in the AC amp position. 2. Place the clamp jaw around a live conductor (as described above). 3. Allow meter to stabilize - Observe reading. The maximum limit for this function is 400 amps AC. Too much current will saturate the ferrous material in the clamp, and adversely affect ...
